OBJECTS CREATED By Mistake

Objects Created by Mistake is an experimental fashion and world-building project I developed through draping, prototyping, pattern making, and intuitive form exploration with clay, plastic and balloons. Created for Martinez-Lierah and IED Barcelona, the project investigates accidental beauty, sculptural silhouettes, and the relationship between organic and artificial forms.

Through volume research, textile manipulation, and spontaneous construction techniques, the garments emerged from a process of experimentation rather than predetermined outcomes. Inspired by the tension between clay-like organic textures and synthetic, plastic-like surfaces, the project explores how mistakes, distortions, and unexpected forms can become emotionally expressive wearable objects.

The collection combines sculptural drapery, asymmetry, and fluid movement to create garments that feel both fragile and futuristic, transforming accidental gestures into intentional design language.
